Nazir Ahmad Bahari

Nazir currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Mutahid. He holds a Master's degree in Finance from International Islamic University Malaysia and a Bachelor in Economics and Finance from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan.

Nazir brings with him rich industry perspective with his past experience in trading and distribution of pharmaceutical drugs across Afghanistan. This has exposed him with intricacies in operations of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Afghanistan which he blends with his specialization in Finance in removing bottlenecks in and around Access to Finance for MSMEs in the country. During his affiliation with the industry, Nazir was also a member of Pak-Afghan Chamber of Commerce through which he obtained collective wisdom of challenges confronting MSMEs in Afghanistan and roles being played by the stakeholders in addressing these challenges in order for the MSMEs to contribute effectively towards Afghanistan’s economic development, job creation, and contribution towards GDP growth.
